Member Benefits
There are lots of reasons to join!
Whether you are looking for a new art style or medium to try, finding friends who share the same interests, or need assistance with an art project, the Buffalo Art Guild has you covered.
We offer all these things, plus, when you decide to join our guild, you can display and sell your artwork at our venues, giving you more exposure as an artist. We currently show a collection of member work on a rotating basis at Allina, Buffalo Companion Animal Clinic, Mid-Country Bank and OutDo Work.
You will also be part of our social media, giving you an even further reach to show what you can do.
We offer many hands-on workshops and demonstrations in a relaxed setting, allowing you to learn new techniques with no pressure.
You get to be part of something bigger with our varied volunteer opportunities to promote you, our artists and their work along with our Guild.
Your membership is tax deductible!
WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING
“Every time we come together, it’s not just about improving our own art, but also about collaborating, sharing our experiences and growing together as artists.”

Join BAG in keeping our CMAB‑funded workshop series running smoothly! We’re looking for friendly volunteers who can attend workshops when no Guild members are registered as participants. You’ll help make the experience welcoming and well‑organized by:
Handing out and collecting participant surveys
Observing the workshop and offering support where needed
Checking in with the instructor afterward
It’s a fun, low‑pressure way to be part of the creative energy, support our instructors, and help BAG gather valuable feedback for future workshops.Description text goes here

Help BAG showcase member artwork at our partner venues! We’re looking for an organized, art‑loving volunteer to help us pull together polished image collections for three locations. You’ll:
Gather images from members
Organize them into a clean document for each venue
Label each piece with the artist’s name and artwork size
This happens twice a year, and you’ll collect images about two weeks before each venue switch. Once venues make their selections, you’ll contact artists with their drop‑off details.
It’s a great way to support fellow artists, stay connected to BAG’s creative community, and help our venues shine with fresh artwork.

The Buffalo Food Shelf has invited BAG to dream up a proposal for a 12' x 28' outdoor mural, and we’re building a creative team to make it happen! We’re looking for artists who want to jump in and help:
Brainstorm mural concepts
Create a visual mock‑up
Estimate project costs
If the Food Shelf’s board approves the design, we’ll bring the mural to life in spring 2027. It’s a great chance to collaborate, imagine big, and add a splash of color to a community‑centered space.
