Buffalo Art Guild will be having our annual picnic again at member Gayle Kubista’s house, rain or shine, on July 20th.  The address, and directions are at the end of this post. You can download a pdf of Gayle’s photo map here.

In the past we have started the picnic earlier than our regular meeting. Please plan on coming about 6 pm. The club will provide brats, buns, and wine. Gayle will provide filtered water and flavored water as additional beverages, all the tableware and brat fixings. Please RSVP to grkubista@gmail.com and let Gayle know what you plan to bring so she knows how many brats to buy and what else to provide. We will need salads, desserts and ONE person to bring chips.     

Please note if you type the address into any of the map systems, they may direct you to one of her neighbors. Look for the cement driveway, you can barely see the house for the trees. Their driveway will hold 5-6 cars without making people jockey for a space.  Gayle suggests parking on 45th street for overflow, rather than on Farmington, as people drive fast on the curve. They have a wildflower path located by the power pole that you can use to walk to their house. Gayle has highlighted this on the photo map.

• East on Hwy 55

• Turn Right on Ct Road 14/ Dague Ave (drive 2.8 miles) You will pass the Rockford township hall and there will be a streetlight by your next turn)

• Turn Left on 37th SE  (drive 1.9 miles)  

• Turn Right on Farmington Ave (immediately after Apple Jacks Orchard) drive for 1.3 miles. 

• Our house is on the West side of the road.
