November Giving Project: Painted Candles for Our Venues
Join us at our November meeting as we continue our cherished tradition of creating art with heart. This year, we’re giving back to the venues that host us by crafting hand-painted battery-operated candles as a festive gesture of appreciation.
Each venue will receive a set of six tubular candles (5–7 inches tall), perfect for grouping or displaying individually. Members will form small teams to paint the candles using a shared theme tailored to each venue — think animals for the veterinary office or abstract designs for the bank. Gayle has already primed the candles, and the Guild will provide acrylic paints and basic brushes.
Bring your creativity — and any fine brushes or special paints you'd like to use for detailing and accents.
Not a painter? No problem! We also need help crafting four thank-you cards to accompany the candle sets. Gayle will supply the cardstock; just bring your favorite markers or ink if you'd like to help.
Let’s come together to celebrate the season with gratitude and creativity!
