Beginning Mosaic Pavers
Come learn how to create a mosaic paver in this relaxed and informative class. Stephanie will introduce you to the tools, tesserae, grout and techniques to get you started. All participants will leave with one or two 8” x 8” pavers over this two day workshop.
Please bring a black sharpie and a pencil; and a pair of protective eye shields if you have them. Snacks and coffee will be provided. Bring a lunch (refrigerator available) if you would like.
Although this classed is aimed at novices, all levels are welcome.
If you have worked with mosaics before, bring your tools for cutting ceramic and glass.
And mostly bring your ideas!
Stephanie Etzel is a former health care worker who is curious and needs to create. As a Mixed Media Artist, the modalities she explores are self taught, and then augmented by taking classes from artists she admires. Although she has exhibited in galleries, most of what Stephanie does now is just herself in her studio discovering and enjoying the process of making something.
This is a two session workshop that begins October 10 and ends on October 11, 9am - 1pm both days.
